The release of the Genesis framework from StudioPress saw the dawn of a new era, and ease of customization. BuddyPress 1.2 was also released in February with the ability to work on any WordPress site.
GenesisBuddy is a child theme that enables you to use Buddypress with Genesis. After installation, creating or adding new child themes – each ready for BuddyPress – is dead easy.
There are even additional theme options included. Choose between showing the blog posts as usual, or showcase the Activity Stream. There’s an option to show or hide the BuddyPress admin bar, as well as choices where to display the BuddyPress navigation to the Groups and Member listings.
Adding or creating child themes to be used with BuddyPress activated has just been made easier. And when you deactivate buddyPress – your theme still works.
We provide all the instruction and support you need to get started, for any current and future official Genesis child theme.
